Baby Barton #2 on it's way

It's official - we are pregnant again!

We have a heartbeat and morning sickness (all day) to prove it.

Baby Barton #2 is due July 20th!

It will be a long, hot, summer.

Zachary's first Gator Game!

While I don't really recommend taking a 2-year-old to a football game, we managed to have a blast. Kiddo got a little bored, but found his groove once the sun went down and the stadium got cooler. We were in the 89th row (of 90) in the South End Zone. P.S. - The Gators won!

Little Man makes a Big Splash!

Zachary just loves to splash in his little pool. How awesome is it to live in Florida where we can splash all spring long?

He is almost 18 months old and he is starting to talk all the time. He recently told me that it was "not nice" to tell him "No."

The house is coming along!

Our house is almost done! We can't wait. The outside is painted, the inside is painted and our cabinets have been delivered.

Of course now we just need to sell our current home. Anyone want to buy a house?

Our Little Man is so Cute!

He just slays me! A recent photo from JC Penney. I'm going to give it to Rick for Valentines Day. Don't tell!

We are building a house...

...and we have underground plumbing. So exciting!!! Apparently we now have to sell our house, make money, and be ready to move by May. I could skip all of the middle part and just move into the new one!

Here is a picture of Rick, Zachary and I on our homesite. We are standing in what is roughly our front entry way. Our home is in Sandoval a Bonita Bay community in Cape Coral. We are building with Pulte Homes - so far a good experience. Is it wrong that Rick and I keep waiting for something bad to happen?

Zachary Barton is one cute kiddo! He completely enjoyed his second Christmas.

Aren't we wholesome? This was our Christamas card photo. Ahhhh life in Florida! We took the boat out one afternoon in November, beached in and took a photo with our homemade tripod. Then we went out to a tropical waterfront lunch at Rumrunners. 

We took the kiddo on the boat a few weeks ago and he completely loved it. Especially the part where he got to drive! 

The Barton family on Christmas Eve. We put the kiddo in his first tie (it was a clip on). He enjoyed the puppet show and entertained everyone with his genuine responses of laughter and clapping.

Our little man sleeps so peacefully each night. (Finally - it only took him a year to decide that 10 hours of contiguous sleep was necessary.)
